VISITING THE STUDIO
UPDATE: 10 September 2020
YOU CAN NOW RETURN TO THE STUDIO
To enable us to re-open the studio safely we’ve made a few changes to the way we operate.
We share the building and toilets with other businesses, so please be respectful of them and their guests.
Please take the time to read and adhere to this important information.
CLEANING AND HYGIENE MEASURES
We have in place:
Fresh, clean microphone windshields for each session
Perspex Shielding Screens
Cleaning Schedule for each session
As usual, bookings will be taken by Keith Easton. Keith will discuss your requirements with you.
In simple terms, following the two households guidance, only two people can be in the studio - one person plus the Studio Engineer. The podcast host or a guest actually appearing on the Podcast recording will be allowed to attend. Other guests or the host can be recorded remotely. Find out how we do that HERE.
Names and contact details for everyone attending the studio MUST be provided.
PRIVACY NOTICE: RECORDING NAMES OF STUDIO GUESTS
For the health and safety of the customers and staff in the premises, we are recording the name and contact details of everyone who enters to support NHS Scotland’s Test and Protect.
This information will be used to enable NHS Scotland to contact you should you have been in the premises around the same time as someone who has tested positive for Coronavirus. Contacting people who might have been exposed to the virus is an important step in stopping the spread.
Your data will not be used for any other purpose.
In order to assist in the containment of the virus, we will only share your data when it is requested directly by NHS Scotland. This will only be in the unlikely event there is a cluster of coronavirus cases linked to these premises.
Read further information on the NHS Scotland Test and Protect strategy on the NHS website at:
Please be respectful of other building users and park responsibly. During this period we ask that clients leave promptly after bookings.
KITCHEN AREAS AND REFRESHMENTS
Unfortunately we will not be able to offer you complimentary tea and coffee or water or allow you to use our mugs and glassware. Please bring your own refreshments and drinking water. Please take all rubbish away with you. Bin bags will be provided.
RECORDING GUESTS REMOTELY
We can take a recording of your guests direct from Zoom into the Studio TV.
It goes without saying:
- Wash your hands frequently for 20 seconds.
- Follow NHS Guidelines - www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/
- Stay well hydrated by drinking plenty water.
Thank you all for reading this and taking all these points on board. We’re doing everything we can to keep you all safe and any disruption to a minimum.
